A Ten Frame is a rectangular frame including 10 individual boxes that are arranged in 2 rows of 5.   A Ten Frame helps children understand counting, place value, adding and subtracting.  It helps develop kids subitizing ("Instantly see how many") skills so kids can become quick and accurate at manipulating numbers.
